🥺😬 Thank you so much, I am sorry you were having this problem with somebody impersonating you. But I’m so happy you reached out to me to let me know. I will block them on Telegram. Fortunately my phone number doesn’t show so I never share it.
Hey Julien, thank you, glad to hear! No problem, there you go:
1) I started to be more active and post more on Twitter/X - there more people started to share in general but also some big accounts
2) met some former banking colleagues, told them about the site, they had a look and did share it around with their networks
Therefore, active and word of mouth, hence organic growth as they say.
What I noticed how others do it but opposite of my approach:
1) pay twitter/x, youtube ads to boost their visibility and reach
2) pay big influencers/companies o so to boost their visibility and reach
I pay 0 for marketing, enough that I pay via my time and data/research tools ...
3) go on podcasts, twitter spaces and all that talking (I am not a big talker, but a do-er)
4) coverage but using fear mongering or hyping or both, hence polarisation (that is BS not research) ... for clicks, views, hence advertising money or shady sponsors ...
5) coverage of some cult like some cryptocurrency or some similar overcooked thingie where people flock in like there is a magic secret there
6) coverage of some niche (as I do research I need to remain flexible, open and also know and admit when wrong, not be obsessed naively with 1 single thing)
7) outright schemes and frauds with get rich quick messages
Love it. Yeah I saw your work shared by pretty big accounts. And I'm not interested by most of the other tactics you describe either, although I talk about crypto a lot but from a rational PoV which is pretty paradoxal :)
Glad to hear :). Crypto can be fine, not much for me, have nothing against it either :). What I do not like when I see it used as some magic wonder, that will make all rich ... the amount of fraud in the crypto space in general is huge! Your approach is cool in any case :). Cheers!
You have put in a lot of work and it’s evident. Engagements outside of the platform definitely yield results within the platform.
For someone with a very low followers on Twitter, how would you approach growth on substack drawing subscribers from Twitter?
I’ve been trying more genuine comments but my niche runs on a lot of hype, hence more traffic but less subscribers. I curate cryptocurrency ‘How to do task’ weekly and share via newsletter https://cryptofada.substack.com/
Congratulations!
Thank you Charlotte, appreciate it!
Glad it works with 0 marketing spending & 0 hype ... simple and the best word of mouth ... .
Have a great Sunday evening!
Ok, I added you!
watch out, that was an impersonator/bot ... banned it now ... sorry, but can only ban them as fast as I can for now

If low Twitter following, I would focus on Substack notes & full articles and asking folks to share around
Congrats, not surprised given the great work!
